Ramona Maria Grewan

Ramona Maria Grewan is a senior South African government executive and legal professional with over 20 years of leadership experience in public administration, governance, and strategic coordination.
She has held key roles within the Northern Cape Provincial Government, including Chief of Staff in the Office of the Premier, supporting executive decision-making and policy implementation.
She holds an LLB from the University of South Africa and is completing a Master’s in International Law and Diplomacy at the University for Peace.
Her research focuses on lawfare, diplomacy, and accountability in the Israel–Palestine context, particularly the South Africa v Israel case before the International Court of Justice.
Her work explores implications for international humanitarian law, state responsibility, and the evolving role of Global South actors.
She also serves as a Supervisory Board Member of the HAAART Foundation for Global Peace and Justice.

Curtis Doebbler

Curtis Doebbler is Research Professor of Law at the Department of Law at the University of Makeni in Sierra Leone. He is also proprietor of The Law Office of Dr Curtis FJ Doebbler in San Antonio, Texas, USA, which represents individuals and groups pro bono in cases involving human rights as well as advises governmental, non-governmental, and inter-governmental entities on public international law. His publications include the Dictionary of Public International Law published by Rowman & Littlefield (USA) and International Human Rights Law: Cases and Materials published by the Tashkent State Institute of Law (Uzbekistan) and CD Publishing (India).

Dominique COCHAIN

Dominique COCHAIN joins Lex Palestina as the representative of the French association “Avocats Pour la Justice au Proche-Orient (A.J.P.O.).” She brings some 25 years of experience in litigation related to the struggles of the Palestinian people and the actions of human rights activists, before national civil, criminal, and administrative courts as well as before the International Criminal Court.

 
 

Anouar Gharbi

Strategic Advisor & Coordination Support

Anouar Gharbi is a long-standing human rights practitioner and expert in international relations. He has founded and led several human rights organisations and research institutes active in Europe and the Arab world, with a focus on governance, transparency, justice, and fundamental rights. He has an extensive network across civil society and international NGOs.
He currently serves as President of Geneva Centre for Democracy & Human Rights.

At Lex Palestina Alliance, he contributes to strategic coordination and supports the development of international partnerships and collective legal efforts.

Rashda Abbas

International Law Consultant

Rashda Abbas is a legal scholar, advocate, and academic leader with over two decades of experience in international law, ADR, human rights, and climate justice.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in International Law at the University of Geneva, specializing in transboundary environmental responsibility and climate justice.
An Advocate of the High Court, she brings extensive expertise in litigation, legal consultancy, and academic leadership, with a strong commitment to advancing justice, sustainability, and rights-based global governance.
